Ring A Tradie, part of the NearMe network, collects the minimum needed to route your request: the name you give, your mobile number, the trade, and the suburb or postcode of the job. That is what an enquiry contains, and it exists so a matched local business can respond to you.

Your details are shared only with businesses matched to your request when delivery is enabled, never sold as marketing lists, and never used to spam you. Enquiry records are kept so disputes can be resolved and so you can be told honestly whether a request was delivered.

Phone calls: when the hotline is answered by our automated assistant, the call greeting tells you two things up front, that you are speaking with an automated assistant and that the call is recorded. Recordings exist to confirm what was requested and are handled under the same rules as enquiry records. If you do not want a recorded call, use the search on this site instead; it reaches the same businesses.

Analytics on this site are first-party and privacy-light: no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no sale of browsing data. We measure pages, not people.
