Ring A Tradie, operated as part of the NearMe network, is a free finding service. Using it means accepting these terms.

What we do: list business records, route enquiries and calls to businesses matched to your trade and area, and label paid placements as paid. What we do not do: perform trade work, employ tradespeople, guarantee that any business will respond, or guarantee the quality, price or licensing of any provider. The contract for any job is between you and the business you engage.

Directory information comes from public records and from businesses themselves. We correct errors when they are pointed out but do not warrant that every record is current or complete. Verify licensing and insurance directly with the tradesperson before work starts.

Enquiries must be genuine requests for work at a real Australian address. Automated, abusive or fake submissions are removed and may be blocked.

Businesses may pay for placement across the NearMe network. Paid positions are always labelled. Payment never changes what a business is allowed to claim about itself, and it never removes a free listing.

Calls to the hotline may be answered by an automated assistant and are recorded, as disclosed at the start of each call. Do not stay on the line if you do not consent; the website provides the same service without a call.

Liability is limited to the maximum extent the Australian Consumer Law allows. Nothing here excludes rights that cannot be excluded.
